No Checks. No Postage. No Late Payments. No Hassles.

More companies than ever offer Direct Payment
 - a safe and reliable way for billers to collect and consumers to pay. Instead of writing checks, mailing payments, or paying bills in person, your payments can be withdrawn automatically from a checking or savings account. These convenient electronic payments flow through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network - the same payment system used for Direct Deposit of payroll and Social Security!

How do you sign up? Choose the companies that you want to pay via Direct Payment, then click on their name to view and print their enrollment form. Complete steps 1-4 and be sure to include your signature, checking or savings account number and financial institution routing number (this is a unique 9-digit number assigned to each financial institution).

Other important information:

  • The enrollment process may take up to 30 days, depending on your billing cycle.
  • You should continue to pay as you normally would until your Direct Payment enrollment or automated withdrawal date is noted on each company's statement.
  • For variable payments, each company will send an account statement at least 10 days before the payment is withdrawn showing the amount due and due date. Fixed payments will be withdrawn on the current due date. You may not receive a statement unless the due date or amount changes.
  • Be sure to keep a copy of the enrollment form(s) for your records.

If you are unable to open a PDF formatted file, an enrollment form can be faxed or mailed to you. Please e-mail  bkannell@thepaymentsauthority.org and note the name of the company(s) whose enrollment form you would like.
